OUR HOSPICE SERVICES INCLUDE
Services by Care Team members (physicians, nurses, home healthcare and homemakers)
Spiritual, emotional, dietary and other counseling services.
Social Service assistance and support
Physical, occupational and speech therapy
Volunteer support
Medications for pain and symptom relief related to terminal illness
In Patient Care (i.e. new pain medication to control pain and symptom management)
Continuous care during periods of crises
Respite care (to give caregivers a break and time off)
Grief and Bereavement services for one year
WHAT SERVICES ARE NOT COVERED BY HOSPICE
ER visits or ambulance transportation
Hospitalization
Room and Board (for patients who live in longterm care, asssited living or skilled facility)
Care or procedures that were not setup or pre-approved by the Hospice Team member
Physician visits not related to hospice diagnosis
Prescription drugs to cure an illness
Aggressive or curative treatment for hospice diagnosis
